Sample Itineraries

North Coast Discovery Tour (6 hours)

0900Hrs (am):
Meet your crew member at the Rockpool Café, Stokes Bay. After a short briefing we will walk to the boat ramp and fit you with your comfortable slimline lifejacket and you will be given a personal water bottle and dry bay for your belongings.
0930Hrs
Your crew member will help you on board our inflatable tender and take you for a short trip out to our larger vessel RADIKAL.
1000Hrs
After a short briefing of the boat by your skipper, we will be away to explore the pristine coastline, always on the lookout for wildlife. You will also be briefed on how we conduct our Citizen Science surveys and how you can contribute if you so choose.
1200Hrs
By this time we will have made our way up the coastline to Western River Cove and would have come across an array of wildlife. Dolphins often frequent this area, so a swim is not out of the question if they are around. This is arguably where the real ‘wow’ factor begins, geologically and otherwise.
1300Hrs
After making our way along arguably the most rugged, remote coastline of Kangaroo Island, we will enter into a marine park where your crew will prepare your gourmet lunch. You will also have the opportunity here for a swim and snorkel, sometimes with a curious sea lion or seal right at your heels! The abundance of fish, caves and swim-throughs here are something to behold!
1400Hrs
The journey continues out wide, on the lookout for the various dolphin species, especially the stunning common dolphins that often join us in large numbers leaping alongside the boat. During the whale season, we will also be keeping a keen eye out for blows.
1500Hrs
We take break for afternoon tea and a home baked snack to debrief and chat about the day’s events and sightings.
1600Hrs
Back at the boat ramp and farewells till next time …and perhaps even a cup of coffee/beer at the Rockpool Café.

Sundowner Tour, Stokes Bay to Cape Cassini
1600Hrs
Meet your crew member at the Rockpool Café, Stokes Bay. After a short briefing we will walk to the boat ramp and fit you with your comfortable slimline lifejacket.
1615Hrs
Your crew member will help you on board our inflatable tender and take you for a short trip out to our larger vessel RADIKAL.
1630Hrs
After a short briefing of the boat by your skipper, we will be away to explore the pristine coastline to the East of Stokes Bay, always on the lookout for wildlife. You will also be briefed on how we conduct our Citizen Science surveys and how you can contribute if you so choose.
1700Hrs
Along the way you will see a majestic coastline dotted with towering cliffs and pristine bays. Two beautiful white-bellies sea eagle nests can be easily spotted (hopefully with residents near by) and on most days you will encounter seals, sea lions and bottlenose dolphins.
1730Hrs
The next 20 minutes you will spend marvelling at the majestical world of the “Hanging Gardens”, where fresh water seeps runout of the cliff face forming the most incredible stalactites of all colours. This is surely the spot for an evening ‘sundowner’ of local bubbles.
1800 - 1830Hrs
Back at the mooring (it could be a tad later depending on if we see dolphins!) and again you are transferred to the boat ramp via our tender vessel.
